His job and passion is experimenting with technology to improve the workflow of his small construction company based in Sweden. FMT AB produces quality work and responds promptly to changes in scope and direction. Our success depends on using technologies that communicate with each other, like Trimble software. My teams use studio equipment along with Trimble Business Center (TBC) and have products like Trimble RealWorks and SketchUp . A key element of our workflow is SketchUp Studio , which includes the Scan Essentials extension for importing and modeling on point cloud data. We use SketchUp.

Studio to bring the material world into D modeling, make changes, and bring it back again, either as files on machines like Trimble SiteVision or as representation in images. TBC and RealWorks to import the data from the drone and, after some modifications, transfer it to SketchUp. All Trimble software is perfectly compatible: you can move between programs (in our case, mainly TBC, RealWorks and SketchUp) without wasting time. We can quickly extract surfaces and textures between different programs, design directly on site from design models, and coordinate designs from various resources using Trimble Connect for an easy and streamlined QA/QC workflow. This workflow benefits the entire construction process and allows everyone on site, from the excavation team to the concrete contractor, to work faster.
