If there is something that this more difficult period that we are going through has shown us, it is the fact that the online has demonstrated its important status that it has in the business environment, especially regarding the retail industry. Obviously, it depends on the field, but many of the online stores have adapted their strategy to stay in touch with their customers - and maybe even to attract new ones - either by reformulating their marketing messages or by promoting with priority some products / services that best meet the current needs of consumers. But first: what is content marketing and how does it work? Content marketing refers to the planning, creation and distribution of digital materials in the online environment, on different channels and in various formats, which directly or indirectly support the promotion of a brand, products or services. In general, content marketing is a medium to long-term investment from a commercial sales point of view, compared to paid advertising, which produces immediate, short-term results.

What does this mean for a business? A business integrates content marketing into its overall marketing & communication strategy to complement paid advertising actions, with the aim of increasing brand awareness, becoming more relevant to its audience, creating a community that to identify with the essence of the brand and to build an active, long-term relationship with its members. Done right, content marketing can generate a substantial Phone Number Data Return-Of-Investment (ROI), as long as you focus your efforts on being present in the places online where your audience spends their time. Thus, you will get quality leads with a higher conversion rate. Let's now talk about ecommerce and how content marketing can contribute to the development and promotion of the brand, products and, of course, to increasing sales. 1. You have an online store. Why make a content marketing strategy? An online store in 2020 is no longer just a platform where you buy the products you need, but represents an entire experience (at least these are the global trends).



Obviously, the main focus of any online shop is to sell as much as possible, constantly and to be as visible as possible on the market. The content you create on your website and on adjacent platforms helps you promote your business and products, and the way you integrate all channels and forms of content can make the difference between you and your competitors. Through content marketing, you can provide details about how your products work , about their usefulness, you can create a context, a state, a story around them , which will inspire consumers and make them aspire to that image you created -a. What's more, you can take advantage of how customers use your products and their experience to shape that story around your brand through the content they themselves create on their own channels, in their own groups and communities.
